A Leader Bradford Residents Deserve
I have called Bradford home since 2019, but my connection runs much deeper. For over 30 years my friends and family have lived here and I have built real relationships through customer service and client work in our local business community. Like so many of you, I chose Bradford to get away from big city traffic, noise, and congestion. I wanted a safe, small town with big town amenities where my children could grow up happy and healthy.
You can drive 5-10 minutes in any direction and I am in the countryside with my family, playing on a soccer field, enjoying a splash pad, skating outdoors, tobogganing on a hill or hiking at Scanlon Creek. So many residents, whether they have lived here 15, 25, or 40 plus years, tell me the exact same thing. They never want to leave because Bradford is the place we all call home.
The next Mayor and Council now hold strong planning powers that will decide the future shape of our community. With the province removing the County's role in planning approvals, the stakes have never been higher. I will not push aggressive growth for the sake of building as many homes as possible. I will advocate for the residents who already live here and protect the small town feel and quality of life we all value.
I have always believed trust is earned through action, transparency, and showing up every single day. As your Councillor I brought honest conversations to the table, asked the difficult questions when needed, and raised the standard for accountability, integrity, and real engagement in Bradford West Gwillimbury while working with residents over the last four years to protect our small town feel and manage growth that serves the people who actually live here.
As Mayor I will continue that same approach with even greater focus. I will advocate to balance responsible growth with protecting our neighborhoods, our farmland, and our quality of life. I will work to bring more amenities, facilities, and activities so every family, young and old, can enjoy our community. Most importantly, I will earn your trust by listening, continue delivering results, and putting residents first every single day.
This is our home.
This is our Bradford.
I am ready to lead with the experience, the record, and the heart to protect it and make it even better for the families who call it home.
